Pakistani Prime Minister Abbasi and others attend the summit

From April 23 to 24, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor 2018 Summit and Exhibition was held in Karachi, Pakistan. The China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) was invited to attend the summit. Wang Lei, general executive manager of China Railway Construction Corporation Pakistan Representative Office, delivered a keynote speech.

Pakistani Prime Minister, Abbasi, Interior Minister and Minister of Planning for Development and Reform, Iqbal, Chief Minister of Punjab province, Shabaz, Chief Minister of Sindh province, Ariza, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing, Chinese General Consul in Karachi Wang Yu, and the government dignitaries of China and Pakistan attended the summit.

During the summit, the logo of CRCC appeared in the venue as the main background, with a stand-alone booth at the entrance of exhibition area. The booth displayed the equipment models, such as shield machines, tamping machines, and rolling broadcasted the promotional films of CRCC, Saudi Mecca light rail projects and others. It received visits from Chief Minister of Sindh Province, Ariza, Ambassador Yao Jing, and General Consul Wang Yu, and gave interviews to well-known local media such as the Pakistan Dawn newspaper.

The summit played a good propaganda role for CRCC, enhanced the visibility and reputation in the local area, and promoted the exchanges between China and Brazil from all walks of life.
